The EIA connector fetches energy datasets from the EIA Open Data API. Data is fetched on demand and cached for anything in the app that needs it.
EIA data you can fetch
- Petroleum, natural gas, electricity, coal, renewables, and the other EIA datasets.
- Single datasets and batches of requests.
- The EIA dataset tree and its facet values, so a panel can browse what is available.
What you can do with EIA data in DeltaForge
- Build an energy dashboard, such as crude, gasoline, and distillate inventories with weekly supply and demand.

Access and API keys
Requires your own API key, registered directly with the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
